Today was another great day for Kolby. She slept in. (That will come to an end in about two weeks when she has to wake up at 4:30 a.m. to get ready for Seminary. She says the nice thing is that she gets to sleep in another half an hour, because she doesn't have to do her hair anymore....:o) After waking up, Kristi and her came and helped me out once again in my classroom. Later, we met Kylie and had a "girls night out!" We went to go see "Eat, Pray, Love" and would you beleive that right in the middle of the movie.....yep....you guessed it.....Kolby threw up in the popcorn bag. She was such a trooper though....once she was done, she handed me the bag and just continued watching the movie like nothing happened. I am glad that throwing up doesn't phase her that much anymore. It's just another one of those things Kolby has come to accept. She sure has developed quite a sense of humor through all of this. I am truly grateful for her positive and spunky personality. It sure helps keep the family's spirits up and her attitude creates such a humbling effect in our home.

Thank you Kristi and Kylie. Also, thank you so much Vicki and Dale for making the t-shirts, you did a great job. I just love them. Thank you!!! This has been really hard on me. I wish I felt better and I want my healthy body back. I miss hanging out with my friends and doing the things I like. I also do not like it when I feel sick. The blisters in my throat and mouth are gone right now, but when I take chemo again I know they will come back. It has been nice feeling good these last few days. I haven't had to have chemo this week because of the scans. It is such a good feeling to feel good again. I never really appreciated my healthy body till now. The chemo makes me feel horrible. I have no energy. I feel nauseous all the time and I get horrible headaches. They hurt so bad. I get s
Delicious! Glad you were able to carry on and enjoy the day regardless.
ReplyDeleteI hope Kylie is doing well also. I'm sure she's a great little Mamma. :)
I'm glad that you don't let the throwing up get you down. When I was pregnant each time, I left my "mark" in several places around town. haha!
